Ryan’s place is honored to be the beneficiary of the 6th Annual Rebecca’s Run, a virtual 5K event held in memory of Rebecca Taylor and all those whose lives have been impacted by addiction and fentanyl-related deaths.

Because this is a virtual race, participants can complete their 5K anytime during the events dates and at any location.
Prizes will be awarded to:
- 1st and 2nd Place Overall Adult Finishers
- 1st Place Kids Finisher
Rebecca’s Run was created to honor the life and memory of Rebecca Taylor. After years of struggling with addiction, Rebecca achieved sobriety in the fall of 2019, allowing her family to share meaningful time and treasured memories together. Following her death, her family chose to transform their grief into action by supporting organizations that help individuals, families, and communities facing difficult life circumstances.
This year, Rebecca’s Run is supporting Ryan’s Place because of our shared commitment to helping families navigate grief and healing after the death of a loved one.
For 25 years, Ryan’s Place has provided support in a safe and caring environment where grieving children, teens, and their families can share their experiences and find connection, hope, and healing. Since opening our doors, we have served more than 21,000 individuals throughout our community, guided by the belief that no child grieves alone.
Rebecca’s family shared that they wish they had known about an organization like Ryan’s Place during their own grief journey. Their hope is that funds raised through Rebecca’s Run will help ensure that children and families facing the death of a loved one have access to support, understanding, and community.
